He was predeceased by: his father James Edsel Griffith; and his stepfather Gene "Macdaddy" McDaniel. He is survived by: his mother Darlene Parrott Griffith McDaniel; his brothers, James and Steven Griffith; his wife Kimberly Griffith; his children, Destanie Griffith, Sarah Griffith, Deborah Griffith and Zane Gregory; and his nephews, Dallas, Denver and Gavin. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and extended family.
