It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lucille Melton of Columbia, Tennessee, born in Franklin, Tennessee, who passed away on February 15, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Cox and Ruth Spears Cox; her spouse Thomas Melton; her son Dwight David Melton; and her son-in-law Mike McCormack.
She is survived by: her children, Donnie Melton (Melanie) of Hampshire, Joe Thomas Melton (Debbie) of Summertown and Deborah McCormack of Columbia; her daughter-in-law Deborah Melton of Lawrenceburg; her grandchildren, Dawn Melton, Jeremy Pope, Tabitha Brewer, Amanda Melton, Justin Melton, Samuel Melton, Sarah Melton, Hannah McCormack and Jacob McCormack; and her friends, Joe and Brenda Adams. She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
