He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lewellen and Mattie Poole; and his son David Lewellen. He is survived by: his children, Jessie Lewellen, Daniel Lewellen (Lisa), Bonnie Lewis and Christine Foster. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
