He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah "Skrippy" McIntosh; and his brothers, Sammy McIntosh and Curt McIntosh. He is survived by: his children, Bric McIntosh (Trish), Ran McIntosh and Candice Wall (Joe); his grandchildren, Donavan McIntosh (Ashley), Morgan McIntosh, Alayna McIntosh and Joe Wall III; and his great grandchild Bailey Compton (Thomas).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gum Springs Baptist Church, Alzheimer's Association, or Tennova Hospice.
