She was predeceased by: her daughter Effie Hughes; her grandchildren, Brenda Hughes, Chanita Hughes Halbert (Daryle) and Aubrey T. Hughes III; her great grandchildren, Jacob and John Halbert; her son-in-law Aubrey T. Hughes, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Peggy Alston.
She is survived by: her children-in-law, Yvonne Sutfin, Idella King and Leslie Sutfin, Jr..
