She was predeceased by: her parents, Bobby Pace and Hazel Boyte Pace; her husband Gary Gunnels; and her son Bruce Gunnels. She is survived by: her children, Gary Gunnels, Robbie Stroud, Breanna Puzon and Leanna Retzloff; and her sisters, Shelia Harris and Bobbie. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
