She was predeceased by: her parents, Murray Bean and Jane Rogers Bean (Sam Cook); and her siblings-in-law, Annette Liles, Bettye Braswell, Charlie Liles and Charlie Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Sam Cook (Kammy), Mary Farne (Roy), Murray Cook (Rhonda) and Mark Cook (Loretta Depew); her sister Mary Jane Brown; her grandchildren, Alicia, Hannah, Lauren Cook, Ben Farne, Savannah, Jake and Jared Cook (Megan Krivinchuk); and her niece Eerion Whitley (Eric). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and great nieces.
