He was predeceased by: his parents, Landon Eaton and Maude Poe Eaton; his daughter Norma Penley Eaton; and his siblings, Nancy Christian and Jim Eaton.
He is survived by: his wife Janis Eaton; his children, Lisa Thieke (Jeff), Donna Hielman (Mike), Carol Brown (Pete) and Kent Eaton (Kelly); his stepson Tony Morton (Lisa); his sisters, Dorothy Tilson and Wanda Stidham; and his close friends, Don Stanfill and Turner. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church of Church Hill, or The Gideons.
