He was predeceased by: his son Dylan Scott Simpson; his brother Norman "Chubs" Simpson; and his grandparents, Norman, Ora Simpson, Emory and Eliza Johnson.
He is survived by: his daughter Briana Casteel; his granddaughter Adeline Gilliam; his parents, Rev. Bob Simpson and Helen Simpson; his sisters, Angela Doss and Elizabeth Wykle (Jimmy); and his nephews, Logan, Tristan Doss, Waylon and Iridian Doss. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
