He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Maness and Bea Maness. He is survived by: his wife Fonda; his siblings, Ken Maness (Judy), Janet Maness (Larry Bradshaw), Linda Luster (Ken), Roger Maness (Sue), Debbie Hudson (Maness), Bob Maness (Angela) and Jimmy Maness (Laurie Heard); his aunt Estelle Simpson; and his siblings-in-law, Genell Cradic, Gary and Larry Cradic (Vicki). He is also survived by nephew and several nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church in Church Hill.
