It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Hughie Smith Jr. (Church Hill, Tennessee), born in Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on July 10, 2022, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Hughie Smith, Sr. and Laura "Faye" Smith Hutson; and his brother-in-law Brent Roberson. He is survived by: his sisters, Sandra Smith and Melissa Roberson; his stepfather James Hutson; his stepsiblings, Thomas Hutson (Linda), Billy Hutson (Ann) and Sharon Haygood (Terry); his nephews, Travis Roberson, Dylan Roberson and Timothy Light; his niece Kristal Light Hamilton; his great-nephew Hunter Johnson; his great-niece Haley Jordan Ball; and his cousins, Randy Tomlinson and Bobby Ball. He is also survived by family members and friends.
