He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Rutledge Gonce and James Earl Gonce, Sr. (Charles). He is survived by: his wife Joetta Gonce; his children, Adam Gonce (Jessica), Scott Gonce (Cynthia) and Edeena Gonce Davis (Randy); his grandchildren, Sarah Gonce, Daniel Davis and Dustin Overbey (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Gracie Overbey, Annie Overbey and Jaxson Overbey; and his brothers, Bob Gonce (Linda) and Jim Gonce. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
