It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Daniel King of Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest A. King and Virginia B. King; and his son William D. King Jr.. He is survived by: his sister Linda Jo Gilliland (Bub); his son Ralph Edward "Eddie" King (Sheila); and his grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob King, Ashley Main and Lorrie Crawford. He is also survived by three great grandchildren; two nephews and a niece.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to one of Dan's favorite charities, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Knights Templar Eye Foundation, 1033 Long Prairie Rd. Suite 5, Flower Mound, TX 75022-4230.
