He was predeceased by: his parents, Donnie McMahan and Lucille McMahan; his son Allen McMahan; his sisters, Ginny and Joyce; his parents-in-law, Maynard and Rosa Lee Wright; his brother Newell; his sisters-in-law, Betty Joyce Wright and Clara Wright Mitchem; and his son-in-law Don McGill.
He is survived by: his wife Betty J. Wright McMahan; and his sister Sue Ryan (Willard) of Trenton, GA. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in memory of Gene's son, Allen, to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Memphis, TN A private family graveside service will be held.
