He is survived by: his wife Nataliya; his children, Samuel Spurlock, Sarah Townsend, Ola Shevchuk and Jimi Spurlock; his grandchildren, Amelia Shevchuk, Acacia Rose, Jonathan Patrick and Jordan Townsend; his sister Mary Katherine Casto; his half-sister DeWilda Spurlock; his nephew Richard See; and his niece Patena See.
