He is survived by: his brothers-in-law, Robert Powell of Whitwell and Bob Adams of Chattanooga; and his nieces and nephews, Rachel Jonas, Jennifer Miller, Meagan Powell, Casey Layne, Jeff Adams and Matt Adams.
