It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Otis Ray Bean of Chattanooga, Tennessee, born in West Point, Mississippi, who passed away on November 1, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bean and Ruth Bean; his siblings, Charles Bean and Edith Belk; his grandsons, Jared Bean and Joshua Lee Freeman; and also Otis Ray Bean, Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Mary Harper Bean; his children, Darlene Windom of Chattanooga, Bobby Bean of Chattanooga, Nadene Akins (Tommy) of Ringgold and Charlene Kelley (Micah) of Soddy Daisy; and his sister Glenda Moore of Brooksville, MS.. He is also survived by five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
