It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nell Smith Brown of Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on July 23, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Smith and Etta Gadd Smith; her son Ricky "Rick" G. Brown; and her siblings, Nola Cox, Carl Smith, Andy Smith and Vera McClure.

She is survived by: her grandson Robert "Bobby" Brown; her great grandchild Erik Brown; her sister Monteen Smith; her nieces, Harriett Mabry Parker (Jenks), Konnie Smithers (Buz) and Judy May Stiles; and her great-niece Leslye May.
