She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Ward and Nellie Money Ward; her husband Dennis Dye Sr.; her brothers, Ralph Ward, Clarence Ward and Ray Ward; and her granddaughter Emily Brooke Dye.
She is survived by: her sister Mae Swan; her sons, Dennis Dye Jr. (Tamara) and Dale Dye (Denise); and her granddaughters, Suzanna Dye, Trisha Martinez and Kayli Peralez. She is also survived by ten nieces and nephews; and eight great-grandchildren.
