Tom Gilliland wrote a sympathy message

“Sadness upon hearing of your passing. We had spoken as of last November. You turned Rhonda and I onto John Prine back in 1974. Lot of good times in Chattanooga before I moved to Dallas, Fort Worth in 1978. I'll remember you the rest of my life and always think of you when I hear Zappa or Arthur Lee and Love Rest in Peace brother. Tommy Gilliland”

John Alexander wrote a sympathy message

“A super nice guy. I had the privilege of working with Ken during his time on the City Commission for Red Bank. He was an easy guy to like and appreciate. Ken really enjoyed watching his Ducks in action. A group of us would meet to watch games. Ken made no secret of who he favored. The hats should be outlawed. We will truly miss you, Ken, but I know we'll see the Ducks in action and think of you fondly. My thoughts and prayers are with your family in their time of grief.”
