It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay Pennington Powe (Chattanooga, Tennessee), born in Sweetwater, Tennessee, who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Pope Pennington and Helen Ross Pennington. She is survived by: her husband Terry Powe; her children, Jeffrey (Sarah) of Chattanooga and Suzanne (Brad) of Birmingham, Alabama; and her grandchildren, Sam, Mae Mae, Maddox, Luke, Bennett and Elliott.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
