She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert Earl Taylor; her son Steven Taylor; her grandsons, Joe Phillips and Josh White; her parents, Alvis Johnson and Edna Shires Johnson; and her siblings, Wilma Goode, Lavelle Byrd, Evie Corder, Thomas Johnson and Jimmy Johnson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Taylor Lester (Lee) of Brighton and Catherine Taylor Phillips (John) of Chattanooga; her daughter-in-law Debbie Taylor of Covington; her siblings, Zadie Ferrell, Maxine Cranford and Richard Johnson (Carolyn); and her grandchildren, Adrian E. Lester (Eric Gillespie), Allison L. Cameron (Craig), Rebecca L. Ping (Brian), John Michael Phillips (Bethany), David Taylor Phillips, Steven Daniel Taylor (Kerri Dale), Harley Hunter Taylor (Jamie), Jason White (Magda) and Faith Owens. She is also survived by twenty-six great grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
