With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Sargent of Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on November 22, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Sargent; his parents, Gustavus Foss Sargent, Jr. and Jean Muir Sargent; and his sister Adele James. He is survived by: his children, John T. Sargent II, David A. Sargent (Karen) and Pamela J. Koontz (Mel); and his brother Philbrook Sargent (Nancy). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
