He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Luther Qualls and JoAnn Shaver Qualls; and his sister Anna Morran. He is survived by: his wife Alline Massengale Qualls; his daughters, Cynthia Gifford (Ramone) and Sally Lofty (Michael); his siblings, Anette Massengale, Anita Massengale, Angie Brown (Tim) and Jackie Qualls; and his grandchildren, Anya Hill, Aiden Hill, Skylar Lofty and Luna Lofty. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
