With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Watkins of Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on January 25, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leonard Watkins and Lela May Bethume Watkins; and his siblings, Dewey L. Watkins, Louise Hundley and Inez Allison.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Jo Watkins; his sons, Gary L. Watkins (Sharon) and Steve D. Watkins (Sandra); and his grandchildren, Adam Watkins, Nathan Watkins (Anika) and Kimberly Fulghum (Brent). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
