He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Walton Lynch and Helen Smith Lynch; his stepmother Sarah Effie McLain; his half-brother Lt. Colonel William Carter (Ret); and his brother-in-law Bill Roy.
He is survived by: his wife Mary B. (Mary B.); his daughter Holly Harwell (Marc); his sister-in-law Carla Roy; his niece Robin Moldenhauer; his nephew Chris Roy; and his cousin Bobby Lynch.
