He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lawson and Juanita Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his stepsons, Scott Bowman (Lauren) and Eric Bowman (Mandy); his sister Beverly Meeks; and his nieces, Brandy Snowden and Melinda Meeks. He is also survived by three step-grandchildren.
