James Horton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Horton (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on January 7, 2021 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Horton to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Quillen and Lois Mae Horton (Williams); his brother J. B. Horton; and his wife Virginia "Jenny" Horton. He is survived by: his sons, Johnny Horton (Julie) of Augusta, GA and Jim Horton (Kyla) of Chattanooga; and his sisters, Ina Mae Smith of Chickamauga and Edna Elder of Chickamauga. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tiftonia Baptist Church Building Fund.
