She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Pruitt; her parents, Reverend Taylor and Ada Pierce; her stepson Johnny Pruitt; and her siblings, Roy, Ronald, Ralph Pierce, Ivona Dixon, Maxine Brewster and Carol Thomas.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Steve Daniels, Wanda Simons and Donna Hames; and her sisters, Naomi Jeffrey, Alice Slaven and Barbara Walker. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
