She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Robert Lester Moreland and Cleo Athine Nichols Moreland; and her husband John William Gill. She is survived by: her children, Donna Lynn Gill Davis, Mark Moreland Gill and Christy Angela Gill; and her grandsons, Richard Brandon Davis and John Bailey Davis. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
