He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Howerton and Juanita Howerton; and his niece Emily Fewell. He is survived by: his wife Connie; his son Colin; his stepdaughter Tonia (Gary Peavyhouse) of Dayton; his brother Dennis (Penny); his nephew Andrew of Ringgold; his sister Cindy Fewell (Byrom); his niece Laura; and his nephew Clay of Hoover, Alabama..
