He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Dunn Miles; his parents, Clarence Miles and Rosie Miles; and his siblings, Roy Gunner, G. W. Miles and Mary Ann Sutton.
He is survived by: his sons, C. H. Miles (LeAnn) and Tony Miles (Catherine); his stepchildren, Gerald Conn (Vickie) and Grace Conn; and his sisters, Brenda Miles, Ima Jean McGibony (Richard) and Margaret Hurst (James). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
