He was predeceased by: his former wife Gladys Overby; his siblings, Ivan Overby, Aaron Overby, Bert Overby, John Overby, Billy Overby, Ruth Yancey and Martha Craze; and his daughter-in-law Lynn Overby.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Overby; his son Chuck Overby; his siblings, Calvin Overby, Jerry Overby (Annie Mae), Edith Lea, Lucille Caissie and Louise Rains; his great grandchildren, Mason Gossett and Paige Collins; and his sister-in-law Jewell Overby. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
