Barney Allen Witt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 25, 2021, at the age of 89, Barney Allen Witt of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Helen "Anderson" Ruth Witt; his parents, William O. Sr. Witt and Grace Allen Witt; and his siblings, Tony Witt, Douglas Witt and Betty Hixson.
He is survived by: his sons, David A. Witt (Kim) of Chattanooga and Cutis Anthony Witt (Susan) of Fort Oglethorpe; his siblings, Pat Schaffa of New Jersey, Harry Witt (Dana) of Virginia, Bob Witt (JoAnn) of Virginia and Walter Witt of Chattanooga; and his grandchildren, Dennis, Chris and Shawn Witt. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donation be made to Children's Hospital at Erlanger, 975 East Third Street, Suite B-508 Chattanooga, Tennessee 37403.
