It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma Jean Norris (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on January 24, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Norris and Alma C. Norris; her husband Kenneth Sales; and her brother Charles Norris. She is survived by: her sons, Charles McClendon (Yolanda) and Michael McClendon III (Marcus Hardaway); her goddaughter Timarra Scott; her stepdaughter Dorris Sales; her grandchildren, Darius, Amanda, Chelsea McClendon and Ty'Jhad McClendon-Hardaway; her stepgranddaughter Tychica Postell; her great grandchildren, Darius McClendon, Jr. and Jaycee Shackleford; and her siblings, Evelyn Calhoun (George), Ruby Jenkins, Ann Donahue (James), Shirley Thompson, Sandra Copeland, Jacqueline Davis, Willie Norris and Robert Norris (Cheryl). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
