She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlie S. Tidwell and Roberta Peeler Tidwell; her husband Brown Elliott; her son Darryl Elliott; and her siblings, Pearlie Hicks, Arlie S. Tidwell, Sol Tidwell, Amy Sanders and Myra Rosell.

She is survived by: her children, Wanda Hassell, Larry Elliott, Janice Thompson, Randy Elliott and Bruce Elliott; and her siblings, Carlos Tidwell and Sue Boone. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
