She was predeceased by: her father Albert Robert; her husband John Edward Powers; and her son Robert Edward Powers. She is survived by: her sons, Johnny Ray Powers and Randy; and her close friend George Robertson.

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Wilkins Cemetery Fund which is located at First Farmers Bank.
