It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martha Bratton Bates (Centerville, Tennessee), who passed away on August 22, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Erwin and Audrey Baker Bratton; her husband Leo Bates; and her brothers, Rod, Don and William Bratton.

She is survived by: her children, David (Debbie Bates) and Barbara Blanton; her grandchildren, Michael Bates (Lindsey), Stephanie Rietveld (Trever), Matthew Blanton (Shauna) and Audrey Banks (Colton); and her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Whitley Bates, Baker, Hayes, Scout Rietveld, Zac, Ian Blanton, Aiden Clemmons and Will Banks. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
