It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel Francis Knapp of Centerville, Tennessee, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Mary Knapp of Nunnelly, TN; his children, Laura Wallyn, Heidi Robinson, Edwin Knapp, Denise Geers (Jeff) and Heather Solomon; his stepchildren, Bill Hudson (Cathy), Susie Brasel (Joe) and Thomas Hudson; his siblings, Louis Knapp (Barb), John Knapp (Bobbi), Mary Lou Dyker (Lloyd), Margaret Darby, Michael Knapp (Sandra), Julie Knapp and Anne Moody (James); his sister-in-law Betsy Knapp; his grandchildren, Dustin Kuczynski (Stephanie), Mackenzie Robinson, Joshua Knapp (Adelle), Olivia Knapp, Jacob Knapp, Emma Knapp, Jessica McGowan (Jamison), Kaitlyn Geers, Kelsey Geers, Chloe Shipman, Isaiah Shipman, Jamie Hinson (Aric), Michelle Jenkins (Michael), Jessica Bunch (Devin), Amy Gunter (EJ), Matthew Hudson (Allison), Floyd Hudson and Mary Hudson; and his great grandchildren, Delaney Kuczynski, Cecelia, Luka Knapp, Shepherd, Rhodes McGowan, Lyndee Hinson, Lillian, Landon, Logan Jenkins, Grayson, Paisley Gunter, Olivia Bunch, Ava, Harris, Anna Hudson, Hadley Hudson, Brinley and Bennett Hudson.
