He is survived by: his daughter Emily Chism (James) of Louisville, KY; his grandchildren, John Chism (Heidi), Jason Chism (Christy), Jo-El Hayes (Shannon) and Rita Thompson (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Levi Chism, Waylon Hayes and Elizabeth Chism.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Plumlee Family Cemetery or the Beech Bethany Church of Christ Building Fund.
