She was predeceased by: her sister Opal Shepherd Patterson. She is survived by: her daughter Peggy Swann Harpe (Wayne Harpe); her children-in-law, Gerald Anderson and Kathy Morgan Swann; her children, Paul Swann (Sherry), Linda Swann Claywell (Phil Claywell) and Bobby Swann (Lisa); and her grandchildren, Michael Harpe (Lisa), Laurie Glover (Gary), Matthew Harpe (Nicole), Lonny Swann (Melanie), Abby Swann Cooper (Austin), Doug Swann, Eric Swann (Casey), Tiffany Anderson Angel (Stacy), Casin Swann (April) and Lance Anderson (Holly). She is also survived by twenty four great- grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

The Swann family requests memorials to either the Cornwell Chapel Missionary Baptist Church or the Defeated Creek Fire Department.
