It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Q Lankford (Carthage, Tennessee), who passed away on October 15, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Dodson Lankford and Margie Victoria Matthews Lankford; his brothers, Horace Dodson Lankford Jr. and Willard Edward Lankford Sr.; his wife Naomi Climer Lankford; and his brothers-in-law, Ronald Sircy and John Alexander McCall Jr..
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Dixon (Eld); his siblings, Reba Joy Lankford McCall of South Carthage and Wayne Lankford (Anna Mae Massey); his grandchildren, Sarah Mayo (Bracken Sr.), Amanda Foster (Joey), Daniel Gibbs (Keri), Erica Fahner (John), Rebecca Brown (Johnny Ray), Matthew, Jesse Dawson, John Dixon (Liz) and Samantha Sanders (Patrick); his sister-in-law Melinda Boston Lankford of Lebanon; and also, Eld, Martha Hackett Sircy of Cookeville and Frances Hackett Bradley (Ned) of Lebanon. He is also survived by one of five sons and a daughter.
The Lankford family requests memorials be made to either the Friendship Primitive Baptist Church of the Smith County Help Center.
