She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jona Holmes and Ruby Estel Sircy Holmes; her siblings, Frances Eugene Holmes Martin, Etter Mazell Holmes Albritton, Opal Estelle Holmes Martin, Mary Holmes Munsey, William Carl Holmes, J. P. Holmes, Paul Randale Holmes, W. J. Holmes and James Shepherd Holmes (Wanda Dennis Holmes); and her daughter Marietta Lynn Denton McCaleb.
She is survived by: her husband Neal; her children, Sharon Denton Braswell (Jeff) and David Denton (Daisy Comstock Denton); her siblings, Diane Holmes Smith (Jimmy) and John Holmes of Hermitage; and her grandchildren, Monica Braswell, Cody Braswell (Jamie) of Carthage, Bren Denney (Austin) of Hartsville, Emily Denton, David Dwight Denton, Deana Denton, Jacob McCaleb (Lauren), Jonah McCaleb (Stephanie) of Gordonsville and Jeremiah McCaleb.
Mrs. Beverly Denton age 79 of the Rock City Community died peacefully at 9:50 a.m. Friday morning November 12, 2021 at her Denton Lane home suffering from Parkinson disease and a short battle with lymphoma.
