She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Herbert and Nora Campbell Whaley; her husband James Leonard Smith; her son Bobby G. Whaley; her sister Bonnie Clawson; her siblings-in-law, Homer Clawson and Molly Clawson; and her niece Nora Lee Campbell.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Cody Ray Whaley, Johnathan Robert Whaley and Katie Lynn Whaley; her siblings, Linda Campbell (Robert), Bobby Ray Whaley Sr. (Fannie Jane) of Butler and Luther Whaley (Bernice) of Elk Mills; her aunt Lennis Bunton; and her nephew Bobby Ray Whaley, Jr.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
