He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Franklin Wright and Ruth Griffin Wright; and his grandson Ethan Wright. He is survived by: his wife Annette Wallace Wright of Bumpus Mills; his children, Brian Wright (Leslee) of Bumpus Mills and Amy Slone (Brandon) of Cadiz; his grandchildren, Lakyn Slone, Katelyn Ahart (C. J.), Gracie Wright and Aubree Wright; and his sister Diane Wright of Franklin, TN..
