It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernetta Singleton (Brownsville, Tennessee), who passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan (Maseola Singleton) and Vernetta; and her siblings, Diane Nixon, Dan Singleton Jr., Joyce Singleton and Stanley Singleton.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Taylor (Robin) of Louisville, KY, Carlos Singleton of Naples, FL and Donquetta Singleton of Collierville, TN.; her siblings, Luanne Singleton of Little Rock, AR, John Singleton of Jackson, TN, Leon Singleton (Carmen) of San Antonio, TX, Derrick Singleton of Jackson, TN and Jason Singleton (Jeannette) of Auburndale, FL; and her close friend Andre Pendergrass Jr. of Brownsville, TN.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts and many friends.
