We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2024, at the age of 66, Rebecca Smith Howard of Brownsville, Tennessee, born in Memphis, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Sylvia McCaleb Smith, Sr.; her husband Johnny O'Neal Howard; and her father Robert J. Smith, Sr.. She is survived by: her daughter Theresa Anne Haynes (Glenn Swenson); her stepsons, Jason Howard (Jennifer) of Brownsville, TN and Wade Howard (Tiffany) of Brownsville, TN; her brother Robert J. Smith, Jr. (Barbie) of Brownsville, TN; her niece Kimberly Smith Hood (Robin) of Medina, TN.; her grandsons, Braxton Tasker and Bentley Haynes; and her close friends, Vickie Washburn and Synthia Rogers.

The family has requested Memorials be made to the Zion Methodist Cemetery Fund, c/o Mary Frances Trottman, 1805 Rudolph Rd., Brownsville, TN 38012.
