She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Phillips, Sr. and Lillie Oneida Kelley Phillips; and her brothers, Edwin Phillips, Jr., Eddie Lee Phillips and Jimmy Leon Phillips.
She is survived by: her husband James Pittman of Whiteville, TN; her daughter Jamie Chapman (Tamarcus, Sr.) of Whiteville, TN; her sisters, Linda Jane Pittman and Elizabeth Ann Taylor (Sammy); and her grandchildren, Taleigha Chapman and Tamarcus Chapman, Jr.. She is also survived by her family and friends.
The family has requested memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. 1640, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
