With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lu Shaw of Brownsville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 29, 2021 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Lu Shaw to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Hamlett and Sara Hamlett; her husband Billy Nib Shaw; her son Earl Shaw; her sister Joanne; her brother-in-law Joe Lowrey; her sister Martha; her brother-in-law Eddie Cornelius; her brother John; and her sister-in-law Betsy Shaw.

She is survived by: her children, Ruth Ann McQuitty of Odessa and Billy Shaw (Jimmy Hill) of Garner; her daughter-in-law Brenda Shaw of Odessa; her grandsons, Mike McQuitty (Cassie) of Keller, Texas, David McQuitty (Tyffani) of Odessa and Jeremy Shaw of Odessa; and her great grandchildren, Madie, Marlie McQuitty of Keller, Tommy Franklin and William Smyers of Odessa. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Masks should be worn and social distancing maintained at the visitation and memorial service.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church or a charity of choice.
