With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jimmy Joe Goodman (Brownsville, Tennessee), born in Whiteville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2024 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Goodman and Gracie Marie Watson Goodman; his wife Nancy Faye Baynes Goodman; his son J. J. Goodman; his sister Betty Lax; and his nephew Claiborne Baynes.

He is survived by: his children, Mary Gracie Goodman (Carla) of Brownsville, TN, Shelley Goodman (Leroy) of Hickory Valley, TN and Phil Goodman (Kim) of Bolivar, TN; his sisters, Erma Evans (Jerry) of Whiteville, TN and Anita Franklin of St. Louis; his granddaughter Haley Campbell of Whiteville, TN; and his niece Morgan Barnhill (Will) of Friendship, TN.
